Lectures are delivered in English, and more traditional theory-based teaching accounts for 30% of the learning mix, as the remaining 70% of the time is devoted tocase-study-based discussions, practical exercises and on-the-job training, in line with the standards of the best international degree programmes. All this is made possible by a teaching staff with a strong international focus, in which IULM lecturers with proven experience in teaching and research abroad are supported by visiting professors from foreign universities. The programme is further enriched by Company visits, days spent at companies to engage with managers and entrepreneurs in the sector; Job Labs, workshops in which managers and industry professionals guide students in carrying out projects relevant to their own companies; and Field Projects and thematic workshops, led by industry experts and academics from the world’s leading universities, on topics such as Experience Design, Destination Reputation, Revenue Management and Digital Geography. The programme is rounded off by a compulsory internship at one of IULM’s partner companies in Italy or abroad. |
