Other mobility programmes
The Exchange programme allows students to take mobility periods for study purposes at partner universities with which IULM University has stipulated partnership agreements. No payment of tuition fees will be required from the host university.
Participants will attend an academic semester (or a term) at the chosen partner university and can benefit from the support fund for young people (contributo “Fondo Giovani”) provided by the The Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).
As for students’ mobility, IULM University signed agreements with many non- European universities. Partner universities, the relevant application deadlines, as well as application requirements are listed in Annex A of the call for applications.

Semester Abroad Programme Annex A
The Free Mover programme allows students to take mobility periods for study purposes at legally recognised universities with which IULM University does not have any agreements.
This represents a further opportunity, specifically if the student wishes to spend a mobility period at a certain university s/he is interested in.
Students are required to directly contact the university they are interested in and to observe all application procedures they will be provided with. Students must verify whether the host university offers programmes compatible with the individual study plan; all this information must be submitted to and approved by the Study Abroad Office. Interested students must have a good knowledge of the language spoken in the country they would like to study in.This call for applications never expires; deadlines are settled by the university chosen by the student. However, students must consider the technical time needed in order to have the courses approved in IULM. Therefore, no applications will be accepted if the destinations’ call deadlines are in less than a month. No financial support is provided for this programme.
The Summer Session programme allows students to attend summer academic or language proficiency courses organized by European and non-European universities.
The courses take place between June and September for 4 to 8 weeks. By passing the exam related to the course, students can have university credits recognised. Courses must be agreed in advance with the Study Abroad Office. Other potential activities not previously agreed will not be recognised.
No scholarships are provided to students attending Summer Session programmes.
The Summer Session call for application for the current academic year 2019-2020 is closed.
