course presentation

IULM University has a long-standing tradition in the teaching of interpreting and translation techniques. For this reason, the University has also positioned itself as a forward-looking institution, anticipating trends that, in an increasingly globalised world, see advanced linguistic proficiency closely intertwined with at least two other key areas of expertise. On the one hand, these include a deep understanding of intercultural dynamics; on the other, the ability to master digital technologies and artificial intelligence tools that today can support and enhance the work of professional translators. IULM therefore offers a programme grounded in well-established academic foundations, while remaining fully up to date with professional practice, such as collaborative translation techniques and human–machine interaction.
