Word of the year: poll 2021
Word of the Year 2021: Take part in the IULM community survey to choose the new word of the year.
A year ago, in December 2019, the IULM community - lecturers, students and administrative staff - chose the word CONFINE (BORDER) as Word of the Year 2020
A prophetic choice unfortunately destined to prove to be a sad landmark.
Some of the events that our community has planned and realized around this word will come to a conclusion in the coming days: on December 10th at 5 pm there will be the opening of the virtual exhibition Still Lives. Arte oltre l'emergenza curated by the students of the Master of Arts. On December 17th at 5.30 pm, always in streaming, there will be the presentation of the book published by Electa containing the short stories who won the the literary competition based on the Word of the Year 2019 (Denaro-Money); then some actors will read the winning theatrical monologues of the dramaturgical competition on the theme of the Border. Finally, in February there will be the opening of a non-virtual exhibition Border Walls, conceived by professors Leonardo Capano and Emilio Mazza with the collaboration of several students, on the theme of the "wall" as an element that at the same time separates, divides but also protects
It is now time to choose the Word of the Year 2021. Even this year IULM asks the whole community to vote for the Word of the Year 2021 by choosing one of the following words proposed by the Rector and the Prorectors:
- shadow
- waiting
- silence
- invisible
The survey is open until December 15th, 1pm. Students, teachers and technical-administrative staff are invited to participate.
