IULM among top 10 universities in the world for gender equality
Inclusion, peace and sustainable development: the Athenaeum grows in the world
IULM University is ranked 8th in the world in THE Impact Rankings 2025 for Sustainable Development Goal No. 5 - Gender Equity, out of more than 1,550 universities evaluated globally.
This recognition enhances the University's commitment to equity: from the Gender Equality Plan, to maternity services, to the activities of the Inter-University Center "Cultures of Gender" and the numerous seminars and projects dedicated to a culture of inclusion.
Other indicators also reward IULM:
- World Top 50 for SDG 16 - Peace, justice and strong institutions
- +300 positions for SDG 11 - Sustainable cities and communities, thanks to cultural action open to citizenship
This also includes participation in the National Doctorate in Peace Studies, which earned more than 240 applications already in its first year.
Finally, IULM significantly improves its overall ranking, entering the 201-300 range out of more than 2,300 universities worldwide.
These results confirm IULM's vision: a university that is inclusive, responsible and projected toward truly sustainable development.
