CERC: Dialogues on internal communication
On March 6, 2026, the third appointment dedicated to change management
The cycle of the "Dialogues on Internal Communication" Convivi , promoted by CERC - Centre for Employee Relations and Communication at IULM University, continues with its third event, dedicated to change management, and is heading towards its close at the beginning of July, when the results of the CERC research "Report on Internal Communication in Italian Companies 2026" will be presented. The research will include the results of a survey of a sample of Italian companies and interviews with experts in the field, and precisely the Dialogues, comparisons between academics and professionals on crucial issues for internal communication, which inspired the cycle of Convivivi
After the first two meetings, the last of which was dedicated to leadership communication, the cycle continues with a further in-depth look at strategic issues of internal communication in organizations, particularly with a focus on change management.
The initiative, which will be held on March 6 at 6 p.m. at Sala dei 146 (IULM Building 6), is designed as a moment of discussion aimed at the community of professionals in the field, with the objective of exploring the role of communication in accompanying, supporting and guiding processes of organizational transformation.
The event will open with institutional greetings from Giovanna Rocca, the University's Pro-Chancellor of Education. This will be followed by a dialogue with experts from academia and business, who will offer complementary perspectives on a topic of particular relevance to organizations.
Shannon A. Bowen, Professor at the University of South Carolina and founder of the Global Strategic Communication Consortium, will offer a reflection on the contemporary meaning of change management, focusing on the elements of innovation that characterize the most recent approaches and the ethical principles that should guide any change process in organizations
From a business perspective, Silvia Caccia, Head of Employee Experience at Italgas, will analyze the main challenges companies face today in change processes, with a focus on employee experience.
Rounding out the discussion, Davide Ciullo, Senior Manager Internal Communication & People Engagement at Snam, will explore the contribution of internal communication in change management processes.
The event will be moderated by Silvia Ravazzani and Alfonsa Butera (IULM) and the conclusions will be entrusted to Alessandra Mazzei, Director of CERC.
A networking aperitif will follow at the end of the proceedings until 8 p.m.
