On the occasion of World Earth Day, April 22, 2025, IULM will hold the new Flow Talk 57 dedicated to the theme of environmental sustainability.

The meeting will feature engineer Giovanni Mori, climate activist and science popularizer, in dialogue with Prof. Federica Ricceri. During the talk they will discuss the current climate situation, the causes and consequences of fossil fuel use, global climate inequalities, and technical and behavioral solutions that can contribute to a real ecological transition.



Giovanni Mori is an Energy and environmental engineer. He started Fridays for Future Brescia and he has been spokesperson for the climate movement Fridays for Future Italy. Environmental consultant for companies, he collaborates with the NGO Save the Planet and with Lombardini22 architecture studio as ESG consultant.
Since 2019, he has hosted one of the first climate-related podcasts in Italy, Emergenza Climattina, and he was a TEDx speaker in 2019 with Climate crisis for dummies: how to know and solve it. He covered COP26 in Glasgow for the Italian newspaper Domani. He is now the host of News from Planet Earth, LifeGate’s daily news podcast, named by Spotify in 2023 as one of the 12 most reliable news podcasts in Italy. He has been heard several times in the House of Representatives and is a frequent speaker and trainer for companies, festivals and universities.
