The agreement was established with the goal of“promoting a culture of sustainability based on quality information, creativity, and participation” and strengthens the University’s role in training professionals in environmental communication.

An exceptional jury: expertise, perspectives, and worlds coming together.
A high-profile jury will be tasked with ensuring quality and rigor in the selection of the winning projects, reflecting the diversity of expertise required by today’s challenges in sustainable communication.
For the New Journalism call for entries, the jury consists of: Franco Bonesso (ANCI-CONAI), Daniele Manca (IULM Master’s in Journalism), Gianni Scotti (CoReVe), Prof. Federica Ricceri (IULM), and Ottavia Belli, Environmental Educator and LinkedIn Top Voices for the Environment.
For the StorytellinGZ competition, the jury includes: Silvia Borsari (Agenzia Community), Prof. Silvia Ravazzani (IULM), Elena Ferrari (CoReVe), Prof. Federica Ricceri, and Duccio Travaglini, co-founder of Greencome Media.
The composition of the two juries reflects a deliberate choice: to foster dialogue among the academic world, the recycling industry, professional journalism, and new media focused on sustainability, ensuring a perspective that combines rigor, creativity, and communicative impact.
Students will also be able to participate in a series of educational activities and visits to facilities along the supply chain to gain firsthand knowledge of the various stages of recycling.
Prof. Ricceri stated: “Sustainability is a complex challenge; it requires expertise, collaboration, and the ability to build connections between different worlds… At IULM, sustainability is a cross-cutting dimension that guides education, research, dialogue with businesses and institutions, and our relationship with the local community, based on the conviction that only through discussion and the sharing of knowledge can we generate a positive and lasting impact on society.”
Her remarks highlighted the strategic value of the partnership with CoReVe in enabling students to engage with concrete experiences of the sustainable transition.
With this agreement, IULM and CoReVe are launching a multi-year initiative that combines education, research, and collaboration with the local community, with the goal of promoting an increasingly widespread and participatory culture of sustainability.
