Collaborative Translation Award

University - 16 May 2024

International award aimed at promoting excellence in collaborative translation research.

On May 22, at 10:30 a.m., the Collaborative Translation Award, an international competition for recent graduates from around the world who have written a Master's or Doctoral dissertation in English, French or Italian related to this field, will be held in Aula Seminari (IULM 1, 6th floor).

The event, in its first edition, has already been well received at an international level, receiving applications from different parts of the world as well as Italy. The winner will receive a certificate of merit and a symbolic cash prize.

The international prize is part of the actions envisaged by the IULM departmental research project "Translating and Interpreting Collaboratively: applications between Real and Virtual" and is part of the activities curated and organized within the International Center for Research on Collaborative Translation.

Taking the opportunity of the Collaborative Translation Award ceremony, a conference has been organized that will feature as speakers some of the finalists, some of whom will connect from abroad (University of Oxford; University of Malta; University of Surrey) while others will participate in attendance.

The Award Jury, as per the rules available on the online channels, consists of three members: the Center's Director Prof. Fabrizio Laurenti, Prof. Mara Logaldo and Dr. Valentina  Baselli.
