Music - 12 October 2026 - Event date 19 October 2026

On October 19, a traveling show blending jazz and techno, in collaboration with Blue Note Milano.

The swing and melody of jazz blend with the hypnotic groove of techno music and the evocative power of wind instruments and percussion. Soundscapes that converge and intertwine, giving rise to a captivating musical experience capable of transforming any space into a stage.

On October 19, Bandakadabra—the marching band that makes the city its ideal stage and the street not just a place to perform but also an inexhaustible source of inspiration—is coming to IULM.

The event, organized in collaboration with Blue Note Milano as part of the Blue Note Off project, will bring live music to the heart of the university with a traveling performance that will wind through some of the campus’s most iconic locations, engaging students, faculty, and the entire university community.

The performance will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the plaza between IULM 2 and IULM 4, then continue through the Rose Garden and on to the outdoor areas of IULM 6, with a stop near the statue of Dante.

The route will conclude at 2:00 p.m. in the plaza in front of IULM 1, where Bandakadabra will perform a final concert: an occasion for listening and dancing.

This is an opportunity to experience the campus in a different way, letting yourself be captivated by the music that flows through the university’s spaces, transforming them into places for gathering, sharing, and entertainment.

The event is open to the general public.

In case of rain, the performance will take place at 1:00 p.m. in the lobby of IULM 1 and starting at 1:30 p.m. in the underpass of IULM 6.
