SDG 1 - No poverty

IULM is committed to a comprehensive set of measures to reduce poverty in all respects. These include the following University and Community anti-poverty programmes:

University anti-poverty programmes

  • Bottom financial quintile admission target
    • Università IULM has set as a specific goal the admission for students who come from the lowest income families in order to promote economic diversity and access to higher education for those populations that might otherwise be underrepresented. This can be a commitment to social equity and inclusion, ensuring that students of all income levels have the opportunity to pursue higher education. In addition, IULM applies differentiated tuition rates in accordance with the five different income levels so that families with higher income contribute in a more substantial way, allowing the low-income students to pay less. This is how IULM ensures the access to education for all;
