Giorgia Meacci
is
a Digital
Colorist
with over fifteen years of experience in the
audiovisual industry. Specialized in cinematic and commercial color grading,
she combines technical skills with artistic and narrative sensitivity, allowing
her to transform images into powerful storytelling tools.
Her
main expertise lies in the advanced use of DaVinci
Resolve
, through which she manages the entire color pipeline.
Since
2013, she has been working as a freelance colorist
across Europe, collaborating with production companies and agencies. In this role, she has graded feature films, TV series, commercials, documentaries, and music videos, supervising creative sessions and providing consultancy on both color workflow and visual aesthetics.
Previously,
she gained significant experience in several renowned post-production houses.
From 2011 to 2012, she worked as a colorist at Green
Movie, handling grading for international brands and coordinating with editing, VFX, and sound design teams. From 2007 to 2011, she was a junior colorist at Rumblefish, where she contributed to the migration from analog to digital workflows, managed 35mm and 16mm film scanning with Arriscan, and worked on the grading of commercials, music videos, and documentaries. Her career began in 2006 at Lumiq Studios
as a colorist assistant, supporting telecine operations, preparing projects on Da Vinci 2K Plus, and managing video outputs to Digibeta and BetaSP.
Her work has been showcased at numerous international
film festivals, including the Berlin International Film Festival,
Venice Film Festival, Rome Film Festival, BAFTA, Sundance Film Festival, among many others.
Giorgia
holds a degree in Performing Arts (DAMS) from the University of Florence and has completed specialized courses in color grading and color management at the International Colorist Academy
(London and Frankfurt). She also attended a master’s
program in editing, VFX, and video production at the Virtual
Reality & Multi Media Park in Turin.
