Ivan Cotroneo is an Italian writer, screenwriter and director. He has published three novels and a collection of short stories, and writes regularly for supplement 7 of Corriere della sera
Graduated in screenwriting at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, he has collaborated in the screenplay of films with, among others, Maria Sole Tognazzi (The man who loves, she and I, Alone Journey), Ferzan Ozpetek Renato de Maria (PazThe front line), Luca Guadagnino (I am love), Riccardo Milani (Easy only). For television he has created and written numerous original series, including Tutti pazzi per amore, Una grande famiglia, Un'altra vita, Sorelle, Sirene, E' arrivata la felicità, Mentre ero via, Una mamma imperfetta and La compagnia del Cigno, the latter two also live.
He has collaborated as an author on some television programs (L'ottavo nano, Parla con me, Tonight Casa Mika)
As a film director, he made his debut with La Kryptonite in her bag. His second film is A Kiss.
