Graduated with honours from the University of Parma with a thesis on Roberto Perini; a student member of the same university since 1979, a researcher since 2000, she has been working at the CSAC (Centre for Studies and Archives of Communication) of the University since 1984, which she directs from 1989 until 2013. Professor of Contemporary Art History at the same University from 1997 to 2017. Professor of History of Costume at the Catholic University of Brescia 2001-2002. She coordinates a CNR research on the cataloguing of design and photographic materials 1996-2000. Speaker at conferences at the universities of: Padua (2001), Rome (2002), Milan Polytechnic (2003, 2004), Bologna (2004, 2005), Parma (2004, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013), Venice (2010), etc.. Consultant Encyclopedia of Fashion Treccani (2005).
MAIN AREAS OF SCIENTIFIC INTEREST
Art history is understood as a system and includes all forms of communication.
