Talent for tourism : for an alliance between universities and business

IULM University and Confcommercio Milano, Lodi, Monza and Brianza together to enhance training and skills in the tourism sector. An event dedicated to figures, trends and prospects in tourism and hospitality, with the participation of industry experts and the signing of a new collaboration agreement

On Tuesday, March 25 at 11 a.m., Sala dei 146 (IULM 6, via Carlo Bo, 7) will host the event The talent of tourism: for an alliance between universities and business, organized in collaboration with Confcommercio Milano, Lodi, Monza and Brianza. The meeting will be an opportunity to present data and trends related to the tourism, culture and major events sector in Milan.

This will be followed by a panel discussion titled "Tourism and Hospitality: orientation, skills, talents," with the participation of industry experts:

  • Francesca Noventa, HR Director Gattinoni Group
  • Manuela De Carlo, Director of the Master in International Tourism and Hospitality, IULM University
  • Ruggero Sainaghi, Referent of the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, Management and Culture, IULM University
  • Anna Scuttari, Referee of the Master's Degree Course in Hospitality and Tourism Management, IULM University

The panel discussion will be moderated by Betty Pagnin, Founder of BuddyJob.

During the event, IULM University and Confcommercio Milano, Lodi, Monza and Brianza will sign a collaboration agreement, in the presence of the Magnifica Rettrice, Professor Valentina Garavaglia, and Confcommercio MiLoMB Secretary General, Marco Barbieri. The agreement provides for the development of joint initiatives in the area of training and dissemination on the topic of tourism and hospitality.

This agreement strengthens the dialogue between Confcommercio MiLoMB and IULM University and will involve the main associations of the tourism and hospitality supply chain of the Confcommercio Milano, Lodi, Monza and Brianza system, including Epam-Fipe, Federalberghi and FTO - Federazione Turismo Organizzato.
