
IULM confirms excellence in graduate education and employability
From AlmaLaurea Report 2025 above-average data for regularity in studies, internationalization, and job placement
IULM University once again confirms the quality of its programmes and its effectiveness in preparing students for the world of work. This is what emerges from the XXVII AlmaLaurea Report 2025, which gives an image of the profile and employment status of Italian graduates. IULM stands out in several indicators, far exceeding national and regional averages in several strategic areas for students' educational and professional success.
Regularity in studies: IULM among the first in Italy
A particularly significant figure concerns the "in progress" graduation rate:
- 82.7% among IULM Bachelor's degree graduates (national average: 58.5%)
- 90.9% among IULM Master's degree graduates (national average: 61.2%)
With a lower average age at graduation than the Italian average (23.7 vs. 25.8), the University stands out for its efficient and student-centered teaching organization.
Internationalization and work during studies: IULM at the top
- 13.2% of IULM graduates had a study abroad experience recognized by the degree program (national average: 10.3%)
- As many as 75.9% worked during their studies, exceeding the national average(66.7%)
In particular, among master's degree graduates, 87.3 percent have done a curricular internship (compared to a national average of 63.4 percent), peaking at 92.7 percent when considering also internships done during the three-year period.
Satisfaction and perceived quality: excellent results
- 90.9% of IULM graduates are satisfied with their relationship with the teaching staff
- 96.7% rate the classrooms and teaching spaces positively
- 91.8% are overall satisfied with the university experience
- 70.6% would enroll again in the same course at the same university
Numbers that testify to IULM's constant attention to the quality of teaching, environment and student-facing services.
Employment: excellent results one and five years after graduation
Among master's graduates one year after graduation:
- 84.6% are employed (national average: 82.7%)
- 60.1% consider the degree very effective for the work they did
- 54.5% say they are actually using the skills they learned
Data that improve further five years after graduation:
- 88.3% are employed
- 67.5% have a permanent contract (compared to 54.9% of the national average)
- 70.1% consider their degree to be effective, with an average net monthly income of 1,835 euros (against the national average of 1,914 euros)
An education that looks to the future
The data from the AlmaLaurea 2025 Report confirm IULM's vocation to train professionals who are aware, competent and ready to face an evolving job market, thanks in part to its strong interaction with the business world, focus on soft skills and support for career guidance.
