The agreement between Milan Housing and IULM was born with a website dedicated to all students of our University looking for accommodation in Milan.
Every year about 25,000 students look for a room to rent in Milan. Finding an accommodation may seem an impossible task for many young people wishing to study in the capital of Lombardy. IULM University - especially at this difficult time due to the health crisis - wants to help its out-of-town students to find an apartment or a room near the University in a simple and easy way.
For this reason IULM has recently signed an agreement with Milan Housing, a point of reference for out-of-town students who are about to start a new university experience in a big city like Milan.
The company's objective is to support students in finding suitable and tested accommodation that meets their needs. This support includes active assistance throughout the duration of the stay, from the check-in scheduling to the final check-out day, easing relations with the owner and between roommates and providing an emergency service and medical assistance in the apartment twenty-four hours a day.
Milan Housing has created a portal dedicated to IULM students, which can be visited at this link, and also offers live-chat support on Skype. Just type "MilanHousing IULM" to speak directly with a member of the staff, who will answer questions from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 14.00.
