Can we survive the environmental crisis and climate change without ethics? If we and our planet are to survive and flourish, a new, eco-centric worldview is required. Join us as David Skrbina, currently a lecturer at the University of Helsinki and previously a Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Michigan, Dearborn, discusses the relationship between ethics and sustainability and considers new solutions to climate change, the population crisis, and technology-related problems
Skrbina is a worldwide known expert in sustainability studies, environmental ethics, technology, and sustainability. He is author or editor of 11 books, including The Metaphysics of Technology (2015), Earth Alive (2010), Panpsychism in the West (2017; MIT Press).
