MDFF Student Award
Can you tell the story of design with a 90'' video?
MDFF is launching a call dedicated to videomakers, creatives and artists from the Festival's partner universities and academies in Milan, to tell through moving image What Really Matters/The Things That Matter, that is, a reflection on really necessary objects, existing or imagined. What cannot be done without? What is or would be the most meaningful object for those in their 20s today? The call aims to select 5 videos of a maximum duration of 90 seconds, made in any medium and technique, which can be sent by March 1 in mp4 format with wetransfer to [email protected]
The videos must be unpublished, never circulated through any medium of dissemination. Each author may participate with only one video. The 5 videos selected from all those submitted will be screened during the days of the Festival (March 6-10) and will participate in the awarding of two prizes:
-Jury Prize (1000€) awarded by three experts in the field to the video that best represents the theme of the call.
-Audience Award (500 €) to the video that is voted the most by the Festival audience.
The authors of the 5 selected videos will participate free of charge during 2024 in a two-day workshop on making short video content on design, architecture, art, under the guidance of industry experts.
There is time until March 1 to participate, don't miss this opportunity!
