On the occasion of Made in Italy Day, IULM University is pleased to host Marco De Vincenzo, creative director of Etro and Head of Design of Fendi leather goods, for an exclusive meeting entitled "Marco De Vincenzo: visions of a creative director." The appointment is set for April 15, 2025 at 3 p.m. at the IULM Auditorium.

Born in Messina in 1978, Marco De Vincenzo began his path in the fashion world with classical studies, then moved to Rome and began his career in Fendi's Style Office, where today he holds the position of Leather Goods Head Designer.
In 2009, he created his eponymous ready-to-wear brand, debuting with his first collection during Paris Haute Couture Week. The same year, he won the "Who is on Next" competition, conceived by Franca Sozzani, becoming an official part of the Milan Fashion Week fashion show calendar. In 2014, he signed a joint venture agreement with LVMH to develop his brand, Marco De Vincenzo, which ended in 2020. In February 2022, he presented his first upcycling project, Supèrno, and, in June of the same year, he was appointed Creative Director of Etro for the Women's, Men's, Home, Kids, and Eyewear lines.

The meeting with Marco De Vincenzo will be a unique opportunity to learn about the vision and creative approach of one of the most appreciated creative directors on the international scene.
