Fashioning the Future: Storytelling, Identity, and Inclusion - A talk by John Richmond
On December 16, 2025 from 12 noon, IULM University will host Fashioning the Future - Storytelling, Identity and Inclusion, a talk with John Richmond, a leading figure in international fashion
The talk will investigate the power of storytelling in identity construction, the creation of bonds and the process that makes fashion truly inclusive.
Through interventions, reflections and moments of discussion with the audience, the event will offer a perspective on the cultural transformations that are redefining the fashion system, with a focus on authenticity, creative expression and inclusion.

This event is part of the Badge of Honour initiative for all students in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. Participation in this event corresponds to the completion of 1 of the 4 activities (for students enrolled in the Master's Degree Courses) and 1 of the 6 activities (for students enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree Courses) required to earn the Badge of Honour point.
For students enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree Program "Fashion and Creative Industries," the Talk will represent the first stage of a challenge developed in collaboration with the fashion company Richmond, which will begin in the second semester
