Courage and the Future: IULM Returns to the Camogli Communication Festival

Communication - 03 August 2026 - Event date 11 September 2026

IULM returns as a featured participant at the Camogli Communication Festival with four events dedicated to the relationship between neuroscience, artificial intelligence, digital technology, and the philosophy of mind, to reflect on the meaning of courage in the age of technology.

What does it mean to have courage in a world where artificial intelligence is redefining the way we communicate, neuroscience is helping us understand decision-making processes, and digital technology is constantly transforming the relationship between people, information, and society?

It is around this question that IULM University’s participation in the 13th edition of the Camogli Communication Festival—scheduled for September 10–13 and dedicated this year to the theme of “Courage”—is structured.

For the second consecutive year, IULM is a key participant in the Festival with four events that bring together neuroscience, artificial intelligence, media studies, and the philosophy of mind. This multidisciplinary program offers diverse yet complementary perspectives for understanding some of the most profound transformations currently reshaping contemporary communication.

For IULM, the Festival of Communication represents an important opportunity to engage with the themes that are reshaping the present: from artificial intelligence to neuroscience, to new forms of communication and the relationship between humans and technology. This dialogue will continue in the coming months through research, training, and outreach initiatives promoted by the University.
