IULM is for Milan: the university for a strategic city
On March 20, 2025, on the occasion of the National Day of Universities, IULM actively participates in the initiative promoted by CRUI and ANCI, pledging to strengthen the link with the city of Milan and promoting social cohesion through a series of events and activities open to citizenship.
Like every year, IULM opens its doors to all those who want to learn more about the University, innovation and culture that characterize our territory
Program of the day and activities
IULM is for Milan
At 3 p.m., the Rector of IULM University, Prof. Valentina Garavaglia, will meet with the Councillor for Culture, Tommaso Sacchi, to illustrate the ongoing activities that the University carries out at the service of the city of Milan. An important meeting to promote new initiatives and projects that will enrich our area
A day in the classroom
Throughout the day, IULM invites citizens to attend the scheduled lectures free of charge. A unique opportunity to live the university experience firsthand. Check out the schedule of courses
A day in the lab
IULM is also at the forefront of research and technological innovation. On University Day, the public will be able to visit
- IULM AI Lab, to explore the application of artificial intelligence in new communication technologies. Visits are scheduled at 12:30 p.m. at IULM 2, Ground Floor.
- Behaviour and Brain Lab, a lab dedicated to marketing-applied neuroscience, with hands-on simulations conducted by our experts. Demonstration at 3:30 p.m. at IULM 7, Second Floor.
IULM for Talent
Student creativity is celebrated with the third edition of the IULM Talent&Creativity Challenge. Finalists in 18 categories will be awarded at 10 a.m. in the Aula Seminari, an opportunity to discover the emerging talents of our UniversityIULM Sports
At 12 noon, the new IULMSport space on the ground floor of the Santander Residence will be inaugurated. A hub dedicated to recreational-sports activities with table soccer and ping pong tournaments. The Rector, together with the Sports Delegate, will meet the University's sports teams, celebrating team spirit and inclusiveness
IULM Art
Culture and art take center stage on the day with two special events
- Guided tour of the Museo Diffuso della Comunicazione, led by students from the Faculty of Arts, Fashion and Tourism. Appointment from 3 to 4 p.m. at IULM Square 1.
- "I Sensi del Giallo" exhibition, freely accessible at 12 noon at IULM 6, First Floor.
