IULM hosts the final of the Torneo Allegria, a project of the Fondazione Mike Bongiorno
An event between play, inclusion and culture
On Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., the IULM Auditorium will host the final of the first edition of the Torneo Allegria: an educational and social workshop, conceived by the Fondazione Mike Bongiorno, in which the game becomes an opportunity for comparison, growth and learning.
The tournament, inspired by Mike Bongiorno's famous TV quizzes, is dedicated in this first edition to people with special needs, with the involvement of centers and realities that deal with disability and inclusion.
Not a simple competition, but an experience that stimulates memory, collaboration and confidence in oneself and in others, in an atmosphere of cheerfulness, listening and sharing.
Special guests
Among the guests will be Paolo Ruffini, actor, director and host, known for his ability to combine comedy and social commitment, author of projects such as Up&Down and Perdutamente, which delicately and profoundly tell the theme of fragility.
Also speaking will be Nicolò Bongiorno, director, author and president of the Fondazione Mike Bongiorno, which has breathed new life into his father's cultural legacy through exhibitions and educational projects inspired by the values of inclusion and participation.
Representing IULM University will be Daniela Cardini, professor of History and Languages of Television, testifying to the University's commitment to promoting projects that combine culture, education and social responsibility.
The value of the Torneo Allegria
The Fondazione Mike Bongiorno was established to preserve and renew the legacy of the famous anchorman through projects that focus on solidarity, education and culture.
With the Torneo Allegria, the Foundation intends to involve more and more realities and communities, reaching even to contexts of social fragility, to demonstrate how the game can become a tool for growth, inclusion and sharing.
"Allegria" was the word-symbol of Mike Bongiorno - to whom IULM awarded the Laurea Magistrale Honoris Causa in Television, Cinema and Multimedia Production in 2007 - and today it becomes a real approach to life, aimed at building more inclusive, welcoming and aware communities.
