Ricerca - 31 March 2026

The results of the European project presented through case histories, real applications and perspectives for digital transformation.

On Monday, 30 March 2026, the Auditorium of Università IULM hosted the final event of AI MAGISTER – From experimentation to value, an initiative of the European Digital Innovation Hub aimed at supporting the adoption of artificial intelligence in businesses.

The event provided a comprehensive overview of the project’s results, which supported mainly small and micro-sized enterprises in structured AI adoption paths through training, Test Before Invest, technology transfer, and the development of concrete applications. Università IULM contributed with speeches by Rector Valentina Garavaglia, Professor Guido Di Fraia, scientific coordinator of AI MAGISTER for IULM and head of the IULM AI Lab, and Alessandro Fermi, Regional Councillor for Universities, Research and Innovation of Lombardy.

As highlighted during the event, the value of the project lies in its ability to transform research into operational solutions, accessible even to small-scale businesses: from optimizing decision-making processes through automated matching systems to developing digital training platforms and solutions based on IoT and predictive AI for safety and industrial monitoring.

Significant attention was given to the project’s success stories, presented by Professor Di Fraia together with the companies involved, demonstrating how collaboration between academia and industry can accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence and generate tangible value.

The event concluded with the award ceremony for the students of the 17th edition of the Executive Master in Social Media Marketing & Digital Communication at IULM, highlighting the strong link between advanced education, technological innovation and the development of digital skills.
