Alessandro Inversini is Associate Professor in Marketing at Henley Business School (University of Reading), where he teaches Strategic Marketing and Consumers' Insights. After his PhD in Communication Sciences from the Università della Svizzera Italiana, Alessandro directed the webatelier.net research laboratory and later the cantonal centre of expertise for tourism and hotel technology in the Canton of Ticino. After returning to the academic field at the Faculty of Tourism of Bournemouth University in 2012, Alessandro has published several articles in prestigious scientific papers such as Contemporary Hospitality Management, Journal of Travel & Tourism Marketing, Hospitality Management, Journal of Marketing Management and Annals of Tourism Research. From 2012 to 2016 Alessandro was a member of the board of IFITT (International Federation for IT in Travel and Tourism) and Research Chair of the prestigious conference ENTER, Information and Communication Technologies in Tourism (2015 and 2016).
