Martha Friel, PhD, is a researcher in Economics and Business Management at the IULM University of Milan at
the Faculty of Arts, Tourism and Markets. She is a member and senior fellow of the Fondazione Santagata per l'Economia della Cultura.
RESEARCH AREAS:
Her research areas concern the economics and management of culture, creative industries and
tourism, on which she has published extensively and taught at numerous universities in Italy and abroad.
