She served on the scientific committee of Testo a fronte, and currently holds this role in the interdisciplinary journal Comunicaciòn y Hombre. She is a member of Compalit and Adi.
Her research interests focus on investigating the relationship between literary genres and sexual genders from a theoretical and comparative perspective. She also works in feminist literary criticism. Theory and practice of eighteenth-century translation are another important area of study.
