Born in Modugno (Ba) in 1975, she graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature in 2002 (summa cum laude) from the University of Bari with a thesis on Sterne and Pirandello. In 2005, she obtained her PhD in Italian Studies with a thesis on the origins of the modern Italian novel. From 2006 to 2008, she was a research fellow for the project "L'Europa in Italia. Italian literature and European literature in the eighteenth century: publishing, translations, magazines". Since 2009, she has been a researcher in Italian Literature at the Department of Arts Languages. Italianistica e culture comparate of the University of Bari and, from September 2017, at the Department of Communication Arts and Media of IULM University in Milan. She is the author of monographs of essays in important Italian and international literary magazines including "Belfagor", "Moderna", "Rassegna europea di letteratura italiana", "Critica letteraria". She has taught Medieval and Modern Italian Literature, Italian Theatre Literature, History of Criticism and Literary Historiography, Italian Language. She has collaborated in the teaching of gender and women's studies at La Sapienza University in Rome. She is part of the Laboratory of feminist studies on the differences of Wisdom. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of "Testo a fronte".
