Simone Arcagni

Simone Arcagni is Associate Professor at the University of Palermo. Scholar of cinema, media, new media and new technologies. He collaborates with "Nòva - Il Sole 24Ore", "Oxygen", Technonews", "Segnocinema" and other scientific journals. He keeps his blog (Postcinema) on the website "Nòva100" of the "Sole 24Ore". He directs "Screencity Journal" and "EmergingSeries Journal". Member of the "International Advisory Board for Web and Transmedia Strategies" of the Prix Italia of Rai and vice-president of the LUM (Laboratorio Universitario Multimediale) of Palermo, he is a consultant and collaborator of festivals, organizations, conferences, series of publications, magazines and is a member of several national and international scientific committees. Its latest publication is Digital Visions. Video, web and new technologies (Einaudi 2016). Among others: Screen City (Bulzoni), Music Video (with Alessandro Amaducci), Oltre il cinema. Metropolis and media (Kaplan). Among the volumes edited: Digital media and man-machine interaction (Aracne), From Postmodern to post-cinema ("Close-up") and Cinema and web ("Close-up") both with Giovanni Spagnoletti.
