Stefano Maggi is co-founder of We Are Social, a global "socially-led" creative agency part of Plus Company, an international network of creative agencies present in 15 countries with over 3,000 employees.
Since 2019 he has been a lecturer at IULM, where he teaches across several courses including: strategie di comunicazione creativa, digital and social media creative communication, creative content online, and the workshop "Beyond the screens:
creatività social."
In 2016 he founded Vetra, a craft beer brand with a strong connection to lifestyle and street culture.
In 2010, together with Gabriele Cucinella and Ottavio Nava, he co-founded We Are Social Italia, an international agency specialising in social media communication and marketing. Since then he has led the growth of the Italian odice and contributed to the global expansion as a member of the international board. He began his career as an account at Agency.com, a digital and creative agency within the TBWA / Omnicom group, before specialising in strategic planning and eventually becoming head of experience planning. During those years he began collaborating with Gabriele Cucinella and Ottavio Nava, who would go on to become co-founders of We Are Social Italia.
Stefano completed his scientific high school diploma at Liceo Scientifico Statale G. B. Grassi in Lecco. He graduated in 2004 in Scienze e Tecnologie della Comunicazione at IULM, where he later obtained his Laurea Magistrale in Comunicazione e Strategia della Marca e del Consumatore.
