Michelangelo Frammartino was born in Milan in 1968. In 1991, he enrolled at the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano, a context in which he developed an interest in the relationship between the concrete and constructed spaces of living and the presence of images, photographs, films or videos. In 1997, he graduated in Direction at the Civica Scuola del Cinema and continued his own path of experimentation on the image. He has taught Direction Institutions at the University of Bergamo, leads the Cinematography course at the Accademia di Brera and collaborates as Direction Tutor for several international Film Labs.
