Born in Genoa. Graduated in Literature and Philosophy at the University La Sapienza in Rome, he is the holder of the Advertising Laboratory course at the University IULM in Milan. He started working in advertising in 1983 as a copywriter at the agency Promos/Italy, belonging to the BBDO network. He then moved to McCann-Erickson, BJKE, and then to Saatchi&Saatchi, where he was appointed Executive Creative Director for Italy and Member of the EMEA Creative Board.
In 1997, he represented Italy as a juror at the Cannes Lions, the most important festival of advertising creativity in the world.
In 2001, he spoke at the Conference "Culture and Communication. Thinking about advertising" organized by Trivioquadrivio on the occasion of the inauguration of the Diocesan Museum of Milan.In 2007, he took part in the Festival della Mente in Sarzana with a speech entitled Breve Mente. In 2009, he took part in the Festival dei Sensi in Valle d'Itria with a speech entitled Il sesto senso, l'intuizione in pubblicità.
Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards in the most prestigious national and international festivals dedicated to advertising creativity (Cannes Lions, ADCI, ADCE, New York Festivals, London Intl., Euro Best, Epica) that make him one of the most awarded creative Italian advertising ever. He has been a member of the ADCI (Italian Art Directors Club) since 1989.
He is one of the founders and currently a member of the editorial staff of Bill magazine, an idea of advertising.
