Confirmed researcher (Aggregate Professor), scientific discipline L-ART/06, Cinema, Photography and Television.
Graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature, with a thesis in Sociology of Communication. Graduated interpreter and translator (English and French).
At IULM University, she is currently a lecturer in Format and TV series at the Master's Degree Course in Television, Cinema and New Media, and in Theory and Technique of TV Language at the Bachelor's Degree Course in Communication, Media and Advertising.
She is a member of the Board of Teachers of the Doctorate in Visual and Media Studies at IULM University, and was a member of the Board of Teachers of the Doctorate in Communication and New Technologies (2006-2009).
At IULM University, she has taught, among other things, Theories and techniques of mass communications, History of sociological thought, Theory and techniques of television fiction, Sociology of television fiction, Formats and television products.
She was a Research Fellow (2000-2002) at the Faculty of Communication Sciences of IULM University, with a research project entitled "Television narration: forms, contents and audience of the serial story".
At the University of Siena, Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, she was the holder of the course of Theory and Techniques of Mass Communications (from 1999 to 2001).
At the Catholic University of Milan, she teaches Theories and Techniques of Music Television at the Master's Degree in Music Communication for Discography (since 2002).
She has participated in national research projects (MIUR, Prin) and has carried out research activities for numerous institutional subjects, including: Rai, Mediaset, Milan Chamber of Commerce, Ferrara Municipality, Milan Municipality, Lombardy Region, Telecom Italia research sector, AssaP.
She is part of the Scientific Committee of the magazine Testo a fronte.
She collaborates as a consultant with numerous scientific journals and publications, including: Social Communications, Between, Series. International Journal of Serial Narratives, ComPol.
She carries out creative and strategic consultancy activities in the television sector.
