Research Center for Consciousness and Perception in Humans, Robots, and AI
The Research Center aims to analyze the complexities of perception, mind, and consciousness—both natural and artificial—within a human-centered computing framework. Research activities will focus on the study of human behavior, visual and spatial perception, artificial consciousness, and conscious artificial intelligence, as well as applied topics such as medical image and report analysis, and the impact of artificial intelligence on cognitive systems and learning processes. The Center will foster collaboration between academia and industry—both represented on the scientific committee—to develop Proofs-of-Concept (PoCs) and experimental prototypes, facilitating the transfer of knowledge and technology into real-world applications.
