Update of May 11th

Dear students,

as you already know, the exams of the second session of a.y. 2019/2020 will start on 25 May 2020 and will end on 4 July 2020.
The Athenaeum would like to reassure you that the exams will all take place regularly, but only in telematic mode and that each of you will be put in a position to face them in serenity.

That being said, we are obliged to reiterate some preliminary indications.

The Universities are dealing with an emergency situation, therefore it is important to understand that the exams will not always take place in exactly the same way as the exams in the presence that have been communicated to you in the exam programmes.

Therefore, in light of the complex mechanism of reorganization of the same, even the calendar originally planned may undergo some changes that will be communicated to you in a timely manner.

Considering the exceptional nature of the situation, we invite you to register for the exams only if you are sure to participate, in order not to further burden the complex organizational mechanisms that each teacher, in agreement with the student secretary, will have to face.

Therefore, if you decide not to take the exam, please cancel your registration within the established deadlines.

Please deal with the study as required in each exam program.

The teachers will inform you in good time about both the exam and the way it will be taken.

We are sure that, only with the cooperation of all of you, fostered by the deep sense of responsibility that this situation imposes, we will deal satisfactorily with the next session of profit exams.

Thanking you for your attention, we send you our warmest regards.

Gianni Canova - Rector
Valentina Garavaglia - Pro-rector of Education

Update of April 27th

Dear students,

As you already know the second examination session for the academic year 2019/2020 will begin on 25 May 2020 and finish on 4 July 2020.
The University would like to reassure you that the examinations will all take place as scheduled. They will be held exclusively online but in such a way as to ensure that you will be able to approach them without any worries.

That being said, we feel we must reaffirm some prior considerations.

Universities are having to deal with an emergency situation, so it is important to understand that the examinations will not always take place in exactly the same way as described in examination programmes that assume students are physically present.
Therefore, in the light of the complex mechanism of reorganizing the exams, it may even be necessary to change some days and times, which will be communicated to you with suitable notice.
Considering the exceptional nature of the situation, we invite you to register for the exams only if you are sure that you will actually take them, in order not to further burden the complex organizational mechanisms that each teacher, in cooperation with the Students Office, will have to face.
Therefore, if you decide not to take the exam, please cancel your registration within the set deadlines.
Please prepare for the exams following the requirements of each examination programme.
The teachers will inform you in good time about both the exam itself and the procedures to be followed.

We are sure that with everyone’s cooperation, and counting on the profound sense of responsibility that this situation demands, we will be able to successfully manage the forthcoming examination session.

Thanking you for you for your attention, we send you our very best regards.

Gianni Canova - Rector
Valentina Garavaglia – Pro-Rector for Educational Affairs
