University - 28 March 2025 - Event date 08 April 2025

A meaningful meeting of discussion and cooperation on the issues of sustainability, food security and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On Tuesday, April 8 at 12:00 PM, the IULM–FAO round table will take place at the Sala dei 146 (IULM 6) of the IULM University campus in Milan. The event is organized in collaboration with FAO – the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

This meeting marks an important moment of dialogue and collaboration, following the signing of the letter of intent on January 31, which officially launched the partnership between IULM and FAO on key issues such as sustainability, food security, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The round table aims to explore future opportunities for collaboration between the two institutions and to outline joint goals for promoting sustainable development models and awareness, both on a local and global scale.

Speakers from FAO will include Clara Velez, Head of Outreach and Promotions and Sabina Zaccaro, Communication Officer.

Throughout the day, dedicated information points will be set up on campus to showcase FAO’s work and its partnership with IULM, offering students and visitors the opportunity to learn more about the joint initiatives and shared objectives.

The event is part of IULM University’s broader commitment to addressing contemporary environmental, social, and economic challenges through an integrated and multidisciplinary approach.
