Journalism and its transformations in the digital age
Since 26 October, the Erasmus + PAgES project "Post-Crisis Journalism in Post-Crisis Libya" has organised a series of online seminars focusing on journalism and its transformations in the digital age. Discover the program.
PAgES "Post-Crisis Journalism in Post-Crisis Libya" is a cooperation project co-financed by the Erasmus + Capacity Building in Higher Education programme of the European Union for the period 15 January 2019 - 14 January 2022. It involves five European partners (IULM, UNIMED, La Sapienza University of Rome, University of Aveiro, Universidad de Granada) and four from Libya (University of Tripoli, University of Zawia, University of Misurata, University of Sirte)
The Erasmus + PAgES project "Post-Crisis Journalism in Post-Crisis Libya" organises a series of online seminars focusing on journalism and its transformations in the digital age.
The online seminars, open to all, will take place on four Mondays, from 26 October to 7 December 2020, and will be attended by international leaders in the field, who will address some of the most relevant challenges of contemporary journalism, both from the point of view of professionals and the public.
This initiative is part of the online training program "Cross-Media Journalism, A learning journey exploring journalism(s) in the digital age", developed by PAgES to contribute to the modernization of the university system in Libya through the design and testing of a Master in Cross-Media Journalism.
Students and academics from the faculties of Journalism, Media and Communication, professionals, journalists and anyone interested in learning more about current changes and trends in journalism practices and teaching, are invited to participate in online seminars and dialogue with the academic community of the four Libyan universities participating in the project.

- 9 november, ore 11.00 — 13.00: Cross-media audiences, publics and communities, organised by Medialab UGR, University of Granada
- 23 november, ore 11.00 — 13.00: Ethical standards and digital circulation of news, with Zouhir Louassini, Journalist at RAI News
- 7 december, ore 11.00 — 13.00: Misinformation, with Walter Quattrociocchi, Professor, Information Systems, Ca’ Foscari University (Italy)
