Cancer prevention in collaboration with LILT
On October 22 the first appointment dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer
IULM University, in the front line in promoting the culture of prevention, is increasingly committed to educating and informing university students on health issues of primary importance. For this reason, from October 22nd IULM University will once again be working alongside LILT (Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori-Italian League for the Fight against Tumors) for the "Educazione alla salute" ("Health Education") project, which aims to raise students' awareness of the importance of cancer prevention.
Given the positive results of the previous editions, this year's project will once again feature a series of initiatives including: free medical check-ups, conferences and seminars dedicated to the theme of cancer prevention.
The project starts with 80 free breast examinations that will be held at the University's Visiting Room. The first appointments will be held on Friday, October 22 from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. and Thursday 28 October from 9 a.m. to 12.
