On Nov. 22 at 3 p.m. in room 612 (IULM6), there will be a special meeting with Matteo Cibic, internationally renowned designer and artist, known for his objects with anthropomorphic forms and hybrid functions. Hosted by lecturer Roberto Semprini within the Design and Project Communication course of the Bachelor of Science in Fashion and Creative Industries, Cibic will present his work and his vision of design as a contemporary art form.

Matteo Cibic is distinguished by his ability to conceal unexpected functions and materials in his designs, made for both industrial processes and small artisans. Called a "transmedia artist," Cibic combines innovative materials with ancient techniques, and some of his works are exhibited in prestigious international museums such as the Triennale Design Museum, the Shanghai Museum of Glass, and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Throughout his career he has collaborated with international institutions and companies such as Timberland, Starbucks, Tim, Bosa and Dodo, for which he serves as creative consultant.

The meeting is open to all, subject to availability. A unique opportunity to explore the work of a designer capable of transforming design into a multi-sensory and conceptual experience.
