On July 1, IULM will host the presentation of the first report of the Italian Atlas of Cultural Fundraising
On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, IULM University will host the presentation of the first research report research report of the Italian Atlas of Cultural Fundraising, a project promoted by the Santagata Foundation for the Economy of Culture in collaboration with Patrimonio Cultura and the Fundraising School of Rome, and supported by the Cariplo Foundation.
The event, scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the University’s Seminar Hall, represents an important opportunity for discussion focused on the evolution of fundraising in the cultural sector and the challenges facing institutions, organizations, and professionals committed to promoting cultural heritage.
The event is the result of a collaboration between IULM and the Santagata Foundation and will bring together professionals, representatives of foundations and cultural organizations, experts, and stakeholders from across Italy.
During the day, the results of the first report from the Italian Atlas of Cultural Fundraising will be presented—a study that offers an up-to-date snapshot of the practices, opportunities, and prospects of fundraising in the cultural sector. The discussion of the data will be accompanied by panel discussions and workshops dedicated to key themes for the sector’s future.
Particular attention will be given to the evolution of cultural professions, emerging skills, and the new training needs driven by a constantly changing landscape. The in-depth analyses will provide useful insights both for the research activities of the IULM Department involved in the project and for the University’s training programs dedicated to the arts and cultural management.
