IULM hosts General Sessions of Broadcast Training Programmes

IULM University is proud to host, on May 24, June 14 and June 21, the General Sessions of the Broadcast Training Program (BTP) in collaboration with Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS), the official broadcaster of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The General Sessions represent a major training moment in the run-up to Milan-Cortina 2026, offering hundreds of students the opportunity to connect with excellence in international sports broadcasting.

Schedule of meetings:

  • Saturday, May 24 - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Aula Magna Baridon

  • Saturday, June 14 - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Auditorium

  • Saturday, June 21 - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Auditorium

Active since 1984, the Broadcast Training Program has already trained more than 14,000 students worldwide. General Sessions are an integral part of this track and provide participants with operational, technical and logistical updates on the television production of the Games.

The program offers hands-on training opportunities in six key areas of sports broadcasting:

  • Broadcast Support
  • Additional Content Production
  • Video Logging
  • Commentary
  • Games Service

For this Milan edition of the General Sessions, 970 students registered from numerous universities and institutes including:
