
IULM Food Academy: a series of workshops on food, wellness and science
Every Monday in March, four meetings to explore the relationship between food, health and science with experts in the field.
The IULM Food Academy is offering a series of four workshops dedicated to the relationship between food, health and science, with the participation of experts and journalists in the field.
The meetings will be held every Monday in March, at 11 a.m., in Room 146 (IULM 6).
Here is the schedule of appointments:
- Monday, March 10 - Eating Well to Live Long, Happy and Healthy
On Monday, March 10, Dr. Daniela Minerva, Director of the Health Multimedia Platform of Repubblica, La Stampa and Gedi News Network, will dialogue with Prof. Nicola Sorrentino, Scientific Director of IULM Food Academy. Prof. Gianni Canova will speak.
- Monday, March 17 - Diet and Sports for a Better Quality of Life
Prof. Nicola Sorrentino, Daniele Dallera, Corriere della Sera's Sports Editor, will discuss the role of nutrition in sports and health, with interviews with personalities from the sports world.
With Carmelo Carbotti, Head of Strategic Marketing & Research Banca Ifis - Monday, March 24 - Food and the Brain. Purchasing and consumption choices: what goes on in our minds
Prof. Vincenzo Russo, Scientific Director of the Neuromarketing Research Center at IULM University, will explore the cognitive and psychological mechanisms that influence our food choices. - Monday, March 31 - Diet allied to the immune system and the environment
Prof. Nicola Sorrentino and Dr. Giovanni Seveso, member of the Board of Directors of IULM Food Academy, will explore the relationship between diet, immune defenses and environmental sustainability.
