IULM Alumni Day and Champagne Forum: A Gathering of Communities, Brands, and Innovation
The second edition brings together IULM graduates, high school graduates, and IULM Ambassadors, along with representatives from Champagne houses, for an afternoon of discussion, training, and networking.
On Friday, October 23, 2026, the IULM 6 Auditorium will host the second edition of IULM Alumni Day + Champagne Forum, an event that brings together the university’s graduates, diploma recipients, and ambassadors with some of the world’s most renowned Champagne houses. The event will also serve as an opportunity to appoint the new IULM Alumni Ambassadors.
Conceived by Chiara Giovoni, Ambassadeur du Champagne, and Marco Muggiano, President of IULM Alumni, with the support of the IULM Alumni Executive Committee, the Champagne Forum focuses on discussions about communication and branding through dialogue among representatives of the Champagne houses, faculty members, and experts.
Following registration, which begins at 2:30 p.m., the event will open at 3:00 p.m. with opening remarks by the Rector, Prof. Valentina Garavaglia, followed by presentations by Marco Muggiano, Prof. Vincenzo Russo, and Sabrina Zara, Deputy Country Manager at Haier Italy.
There will be two panel discussions, moderated by Chiara Giovoni and Marco Muggiano:
3:25 p.m. –“The New Architecture of Desire: AI, Tech, and Emotions,” dedicated to the relationship between artificial intelligence, technology, and emotions, introduced by Prof. Massimiliano Bruni;
4:45 p.m. –“The Human Behind the Myth / Physical and Digital Experience: Brand Personification and Halo Effect,”on the role of people and experiences in brand building, preceded by a presentation by Prof. Daniela Corsaro.
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. “Introducing Excellence,” an educational tasting of approximately 40 types of Champagne. Admission, with limited seating, is reserved for those who have attended the afternoon panel discussions and registered by 4:00 p.m.
Starting at 8:00 p.m., there will be a cocktail reception, by invitation only, featuring a selection of cuvées from the partner houses of IULM Alumni Day + Champagne | Forum, paired with some of the most prestigious products of Italy’s agri-food heritage, courtesy of the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium, the Consorzio Burrata di Andria IGP, Igor Gorgonzola, the Consorzio Italiano Tutela Mortadella Bologna, Savini Tartufi, Riso Pozzi, Surgital Divine Creazioni, Giolina, and Zaini—the stars of the tasting experience dedicated to quality, tradition, and craftsmanship.
