
Artificial Intelligence and the Revolution in the Art of the Third Millennium: IULM featured at CSAIA Conference
IULM Professor Davide Mezzino among the protagonists of the CSAIA conference in Montecitorio, dedicated to the impact of Artificial Intelligence on art and culture."
On Feb. 25, 2025, an important meeting organized by the Center for the Study of Artificial Intelligence (CSAIA) will be held in the Sala della Regina of Palazzo Montecitorio, which will feature our own Prof. Davide Mezzino, a lecturer in the Department of Humanities at IULM, as the protagonist of an in-depth discussion on the applications of Artificial Intelligence in art.
The conference, titled "AI and the Revolution in the Art of the Third Millennium," is part of the meetings of CSAIA's Art & Humanities Observatory and will focus on theimpact of AI in the fields of culture and the arts, analyzing how this technology is transforming contemporary art creativity and enjoyment.
In addition to Prof. Mezzino, experts in the field such as Carlo Pizzichini, Professor at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, and Anita Valentini, Art Historian, will discuss how artificial intelligence is affecting artistic practices, from the creation of artworks to the digitization of cultural heritage.
The meeting will also feature Paola Arena, CTO of Yookye and researcher in Digital Humanities, and Sergio Bellucci, Chief Academic Officer of the AI Faculty at the University for Peace, who will address the challenges and opportunities of using AI to foster innovation in the arts and culture.
The conference will be a unique opportunity to explore how new technologies are redefining the relationship between art, science and humanity, and how the role of artificial intelligence can open new frontiers for future research and artistic creation.
The event will take place at 10 a.m., with a welcome address by the Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies, Hon. Giorgio Mulè, and a series of talks by internationally relevant experts in the field of AI applied to the humanities, medicine, and cybersecurity.
