64th World Theater Day: IULM celebrates theater between training and stage
March 27 each year marks World Theatre Day, first established by the International Theatre Institute and UNESCO experts on March 27, 1962.
On the occasion of World Theater Day, IULM University renews its commitment to the promotion of the performing arts, enhancing the role of theater in the education and cultural growth of students.
The day represents a moment of reflection on the significance of theater as a space for expression, research and dialogue, in line with the international message 2026 entrusted to actor Willem Dafoe, who emphasizes the universal value of the stage as a meeting place between cultures and languages.
In our Athenaeum, theater is cultivated every day through the activities of the University Theater Center (CUT).
