University - 05 November 2025

Università IULM has earned high praise for its exceptional management of the Erasmus+ Programme (2023–2025), scoring an impressive 97/100 in the latest evaluation by the National Erasmus+ Agency. The university’s efforts were evaluated based on its final report for Erasmus+ KA131 (2023 call), which supports student mobility for study and traineeships, as well as mobility for teachers and administrative staff.

The evaluation confirmed that the university  successfully met all objectives, with its management practices recognized for their high quality. As a result of this excellent performance, the project has been highlighted as a "good practice" on the Erasmus+ Project Results platform.

  • Project Quality: the BIP (Blended Intensive Programme), coordinated by the University as part of a multi-year initiative, stands out for the quality of its design and implementation.
  • Strategies and Compliance: the University implemented targeted strategies that fully complied with the European Commission’s Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) requirements, while carefully monitoring participant feedback and mobility processes.

The first Erasmus International Credit Mobility project, managed by Università IULM as the lead partner, has yielded highly satisfactory results.
The KA171 program, part of the EU's broader initiative to promote international collaboration and academic exchange with non-EU countries, has fostered strong partnerships with Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages and Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

Since 2023, the project has facilitated the exchange of 8 students and 6 faculty members between these Central Asian universities and IULM. Through this collaboration, 5 IULM students completed internships in Uzbekistan as teaching assistants, helping Russian-speaking students learn Italian, while four students had the opportunity to study abroad in Kazakhstan.

These recognitions are particularly significant, as they provide a valuable European benchmark for Università IULM’s ongoing internationalization efforts, reinforcing its position as a leading institution in the global educational landscape.
