Dario Fo, the 100th Anniversary of His Birth: A Conference at IULM on His Relationship with Milan
On the 100th anniversary of Dario Fo’s birth, on October 13, IULM will host a session of the conference “Dario Fo and Milan, Dario Fo in Milan,” dedicated to the relationship between the Nobel Prize winner and the media.
To mark the 100th anniversary of Dario Fo’s birth, IULM University will host a session of the conference “Dario Fo and Milan, Dario Fo in Milan, ” scheduled for October 12 and 13, 2026. This event offers an opportunity to explore Fo and Franca Rame’s connection to the city through their artistic endeavors, theatrical work, and relationship with the media.
The event at IULM will take place on Tuesday, October 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in Room 146 of IULM 6. The session “In the Media System” will explore Fo’s relationship with the press, music, painting, television, and record production.
The morning will begin with opening remarks by Rector Valentina Garavaglia, followed by presentations coordinated by Emilio Mazza.
