ECDL Update

News - 08 September 2020

For all students enrolled in the first exam session of the year 2020/2021 ECDL will no longer be a prerequisite

The Academic Senate has recently decided that from the first exam session of the academic year 2020/21 the ECDL is no longer a fundamental requirement for all students.
This means that ECDL will not be a mandatory prerequisite for all students who register for the first exam session of the 2020/21 academic year (January/February) to take the exam. For all those who register in January 2021 for the dates of the fourth (and last) session of year 2019/20, the ECDL will still be a mandatory prerequisite for taking the information systems and ICT exams.

Starting from the second exam session of year 2020/21 (May/June/July 2021) all students will be able to access the exam sessions of the information systems and ICT exams even if they have not obtained the ECDL.
