University - 02 November 2020

It will be possible to apply until February 15th, 2020

In recent months, IULM University has established a fund for the allocation of extraordinary contributions for the Covid-19 emergency. The fund is for the benefit of its students enrolled in the Executive and Specialist Master's programmes for the academic year 2020/2021. Given the prolonged nature of the emergency, it has been decided to allocate a further €50,000, to broaden the access criteria and to extend the deadline for submitting applications until 15 February 2021.

The Government Bodies of IULM University have established an emergency fund for the benefit of its students enrolled in Master's courses in the academic year 2020/2021 who, as a result of the Covid-19 epidemiological emergency, find themselves in serious financial distress.

The purpose of the emergency fund is to make extraordinary contributions to students who find themselves in particular difficulty and unable to pay their enrolment fees for the Master's courses for the academic year 2020/2021, following one of the events indicated below, occurring after February 1st 2020 and associated with the Covid-19 epidemiological emergency:

  • the loss of a parent
  • the bankruptcy, the forced closure of the family business or a drastic and documented drop in turnover in the absence of other income and assets such as to constitute a total ISEE of less than €43,000.00;
  • the dismissal of a parent in the absence of other income and assets such as to constitute a total ISEE of less than €43,000.00.

A specially constituted Committee will assess the individual applications, which must be received in writing, stating the reasons for the application and accompanied by the documentation needed to assess it, no later than Monday 15 February 2021 at [email protected] with the following subject: Request for extraordinary Covid-Master contribution.

The amount of any extraordinary contribution awarded will be determined at the sole discretion of the Commission.
All students who have successfully passed the admission interviews to the Master's course and have completed the enrolment process by 29 January 2021 may apply.

The assigned Contribution will lead to a reduction in the last instalment of the Master's enrolment fees.
